We’re hiring: 300 Remote Application Security Engineers (AppSec) — Secure Code Benchmarking ($30 – $100/hr) 🛡️💻
If you have a strong backend engineering foundation in Python, Java, Rust, TypeScript, Go, or C++, combined with hands-on experience in AppSec, OWASP/CWE standards, vulnerability triage, or code auditing, this flexible contract is open for immediate placement.
The Breakdown
Role: Application Security Engineer (AppSec) – AI Code Security & Verification
Openings: 300 seats available immediately
Rate: $30 – $100 / hour (Output-based per verified task)
Commitment: ~15 hours/week (Completely flexible schedule, weekends allowed)
Location: 100% Remote (Global)
Core Tech: Python 3, Java, Rust, TypeScript, C++, Go, Node.js, OWASP/CWE, Secure Coding, Deterministic Verifiers
What You'll Do
Design and implement complex, real-world backend coding tasks involving feature builds, logic bugs, and security flaws.
Construct automated, deterministic verification suites that programmatically test whether an AI's solution is functional, optimized, and secure.
Refactor legacy codebases and eliminate vulnerabilities such as injection flaws, broken auth, memory unsafety, and logic regressions.
Audit and review model-generated code against production security baselines and secure software development lifecycles.
Formulate test cases that expose common LLM coding vulnerabilities, syntax hallucinations, and insecure configurations.
What You Need
Proven background in backend software engineering with Python, Java, Rust, TypeScript, Go, Node.js, or C++.
Working experience in application security (AppSec), secure code review, pentesting, or vulnerability assessment (OWASP Top 10, CWE).
Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and automated test harness design.
Strong debugging instincts and ability to navigate and refactor complex, unfamiliar codebases.
Clear written English communication to document security trade-offs and verification criteria.
Roles typically fill within 48 hours, and selected engineers are expected to start within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.
