Role Description The Technical Manager for Robotics & AI and STEM Education at Tekplay.AI is a full-time, on-site role based in Salem. This role is responsible for leading the design and development of Robotics and AI curricula, educational products, and hands-on projects aligned with STEM learning outcomes. The Technical Manager will oversee R&D activities, evaluate emerging tools and technologies, and translate them into classroom-ready solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing academic operations, coordinating with educators and institutional partners, planning and monitoring projects, and ensuring timely delivery of program milestones. The role involves providing technical support to faculty, conducting training and workshops, creating documentation and teaching aids, and supervising a team to maintain quality and consistency across implementations.

Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate educational outcomes, and optimize curricula and projects.
Candidates should possess team management and leadership skills to guide faculty, trainers, and technical staff effectively.
Candidates should possess technical support skills to troubleshoot Robotics, AI, and STEM-related hardware and software used in academic programs.
Candidates should possess research and development (R&D) skills to explore new technologies, prototype solutions, and refine educational products.
Candidates should possess project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor multi-site academic implementations and product rollouts.
Solid knowledge of Robotics platforms, AI concepts, coding (e.g., Python, Scratch, or similar), and STEM pedagogy.
Experience in curriculum design, instructional material development, and faculty training for K-12 or higher education is highly beneficial.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a structured academic environment and collaborate with institutional stakeholders.
