Typical day-to-day tasks include checking sources when needed, verifying quotes or references, ensuring there is no plagiarism, and suggesting minor edits for grammar, spelling, and readability. The freelancer collaborates with content creators through digital tools, maintains organized records of verified content, and meets agreed-upon deadlines for daily or scheduled reviews. Work hours are flexible and can be adapted to the freelancer’s schedule as long as verification timelines are respected.
Qualifications
Strong language skills, including excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail in written English.
Ability to conduct basic online research to verify quotes, references, and factual statements.
Experience with content review or proofreading, including identifying inconsistencies and unclear phrasing.
Comfort working with digital tools and online collaboration platforms in a fully remote environment.
Reliable time management skills and the ability to meet recurring, short deadlines.
