JOB DESCRIPTION:
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Vue.js 3, Node.js, and MongoDB to join our product team in Bengaluru. This is a hybrid role combining active engineering (70%) with team leadership (30%). You will be responsible for designing and delivering full-stack features, defining system architecture, maintaining deployment stability, and leading a team of 5+ developers in an Agile environment.
This role requires prior experience building E-commerce / Marketplace / B2B SaaS products.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Design and deliver end-to-end features across Vue 3, Node.js, and MongoDB
· Own code quality through code reviews, standards, and refactoring
· Define system architecture for new features and third-party integrations
· Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and ensure deployment stability (Docker, AWS)
· Lead sprint ceremonies: planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
· Break down product requirements into engineering tasks and assign work
· Track and report delivery progress and flag blockers early
· Act as the primary technical contact for product, operations, and leadership
· Translate technical constraints and timelines for non-technical stakeholders
· Document architecture decisions and processes
· Conduct 1-on-1s, provide structured feedback, and mentor junior & mid-level developers
· Support hiring through technical interviews and candidate evaluation
· Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices
Mandatory Requirements
Experience & Leadership:
· 5-8 years of software development experience with at least 1+ years in a Lead / Senior role
· Must have led a team of 5+ developers in an Agile environment
· Must remain hands-on - writing code, reviewing PRs, and defining architecture
Technical Skills:
· Vue.js 3: Mandatory - Composition API, Pinia, Vue Router, component architecture
· Node.js: Mandatory - Express.js or Fastify, REST API Design, async/await, JWT / OAuth2
· MongoDB: Mandatory - Schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, Mongoose
· DevOps: Mandatory - Git workflows (GitFlow, branching, PR discipline), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), basic Docker
· Cloud: Mandatory - AWS fundamentals (EC2, S3); EKS/ECS exposure is a plus
Other Must-Haves:
· Strong stakeholder communication skills
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
· Domain experience: E-commerce / Marketplace / B2B SaaS
Preferred Skills:
· AI and LLM integration (Claude API, OpenAI, MongoDB Atlas Vector Search)
· Elasticsearch, Redis, BullMQ, GraphQL, Webhook Architecture, Event-driven Design
