Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Shopify Developer. The Shopify Developer will build, customize, and maintain Shopify stores and apps, including theme development, configuration, and performance optimization. Daily tasks include implementing new features, configuring apps and integrations, managing product catalogs, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly storefronts. The role involves collaborating with designers, marketers, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining high standards of code quality and security. The Shopify Developer will also contribute to continuous improvement by recommending best practices and enhancements based on analytics and user feedback.
Qualifications
Strong Shopify expertise in apps, Liquid templating and Shopify admin configuration.
Experience with Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and API usage.
Understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX for online stores, and conversion optimization.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows.
Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver clean, maintainable code.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional remote teams.
Prior experience as a Shopify apps and e-commerce developer; experience in agency or multi-client environments is a plus.
