Director of Technology

Director, Technology & Innovation
We are seeking a hands-on technology leader to help modernize systems, improve business workflows, and introduce new technology across the organization.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who can move between technology strategy and execution. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with the ability to understand business processes, work across departments, and manage outside technology and service partners.
What You'll Do
Lead technology initiatives from initial concept through testing, implementation, and ongoing improvement.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes through software, automation, AI, and better system integration.
Build or prototype applications, integrations, workflows, and new technical capabilities.
Evaluate new technologies and determine when to build internally versus use external solutions.
Integrate internal systems with SaaS platforms, data providers, and third-party services.
Work closely with outside vendors and service providers supporting important business operations.
Modernize legacy applications, databases, and workflows.
Translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
Track the effectiveness and business impact of implemented technology.
What We're Looking For
8+ years of experience across software development, enterprise applications, architecture, technology innovation, or related areas.
Strong hands-on technical experience with:
C# / .NET
Microsoft Azure
SQL / relational databases
JavaScript
APIs and system integrations
SaaS applications
Experience working with complex business applications and transaction-driven workflows.
Experience managing integrations and technical relationships with external vendors or service providers.
Exposure to AI, automation, cloud modernization, or emerging technologies.
Ability to independently troubleshoot, prototype, test, and implement solutions.
Strong project ownership and cross-functional communication skills.
Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is a plus.
