We are looking for a Senior SAP SD Consultant | S/4HANA & Order-to-Cash 🛡️
To join the SAP environment of an automotive systems manufacturer, supplying major vehicle manufacturers and operating across multiple production facilities, logistics networks and international markets. The organization operates in a complex industrial environment where customer orders, material availability, production requirements, distribution and billing are closely connected. SAP plays a central role in supporting these processes, ensuring commercial operations remain aligned with manufacturing and logistics activities.
The environment combines SAP S/4HANA, Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM), with a strong focus on Order-to-Cash processes, cross-functional integration and the continuous evolution of the SAP landscape. The position sits close to the business, combining functional configuration, process optimization, implementation and continuous improvement in an environment where changes to sales and distribution processes have a direct impact on manufacturing operations, product deliveries and customer commitments.
Skills
🎯 +5 years of experience with SAP SD in complex enterprise environments;
🎯 S/4HANA implementation, maintenance and functional evolution;
🎯 End-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, from customer orders to delivery and billing;
🎯 SAP SD configuration and customizing (sales document types, categories, pricing);
🎯 Sales order processing, delivery management, shipping and billing;
🎯 Customer and material master data and their impact on sales and distribution processes;
🎯 SD/MM integration, particularly material availability, inventory and logistics dependencies;
🎯 Functional integration between SD, MM and FI;
🎯 Functional analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping and solution design;
🎯 Fiori applications and their integration with SAP business processes;
Responsibilities
✅ Configure and maintain SAP SD processes within an international manufacturing SAP;
✅ Support the complete OTC, from customer order creation and pricing;
✅ Analyse business requirements from Sales, Logistics and Supply Chain teams;
✅ Configure and improve sales document types, pricing conditions, delivery processes and billing procedures;
✅ Work across SAP SD/MM integration, ensuring that sales and distribution processes are correctly connected with material availability, inventory and logistics activities;
✅ Support scenarios where commercial requirements must be aligned with production planning, material availability and customer delivery commitments;
✅ Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, functional evolution and continuous improvement initiatives;
✅ Contribute to the harmonization of sales and distribution processes across international business units and operational environments;
✅ Analyse functional dependencies between SAP SD, MM and FI, supporting consistent end-to-end business processes;
✅ Perform functional analysis, customizing, testing and validation of SAP changes;
✅ Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve cross-functional issues and improve process efficiency;
✅ Investigate complex functional incidents affecting sales orders, pricing, deliveries, billing and logistics integration, identifying root causes and sustainable solutions;
✅ SAP Fiori applications and contribute to improvements in the execution of business processes;
