Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Bengaluru/Mumbai. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), undertake quantity take-offs, and support tendering and estimation activities. The role involves monitoring project costs, preparing cost plans and budgets, and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include cost reporting, valuation of work done, assisting with contract administration, and supporting claims and variations. The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to maintain accurate records, align costs with project progress, and contribute to timely, cost-effective project delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.
Candidates should possess expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and measurement for accurate estimation and tendering.
Candidates should possess abilities in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to develop budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial updates.
Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
Practical experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in EPC or civil and structural works.
Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimation software; familiarity with standard contracts and construction codes.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret drawings and technical documents.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with site, design, and procurement teams.
