Principal DevOps Engineer_20+ yrs

We are seeking a Product Owner – DevOps (AWS + Azure) to mentor and guide learner teams in designing and developing cloud-native and DevOps solutions for real-world business problems. The PO will support learners through a structured, sprint-based XPro, helping them understand cloud and DevOps concepts, identify requirements, define product solutions, and apply industry-standard practices across AWS and Azure environments.
Responsibilities of PO:Product Owners are responsible for interacting with learners at the end of every sprint.
Discuss DevOps and Cloud concepts through practical examples that simulate workplace scenarios, helping learners understand what is expected in a modern DevOps environment.
Bring relevant industry experience and real-world practices into learner interactions, particularly around AWS, Azure, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, containers, monitoring, and cloud deployment.
Be aware of the sprint objectives, learner progress, and agenda to be discussed prior to each session.
Share industry experiences and best practices in the context of the learner project and problem statement.
Keep learners apprised of current industry trends, technologies, and practices in Cloud and DevOps.
Review and assess sprint deliverables, providing constructive feedback on the product direction, technical approach, and overall solution.
Guide learners in understanding business requirements, product expectations, scalability, security, reliability, and operational considerations while developing their solutions.
Help learners connect their technical implementation with real-world business and product requirements.
Train and mentor new Project Managers to effectively facilitate learner teams and support sprint-based project execution.
