Position Overview:
We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Executive to support revenue management and optimization across assigned airline sectors. The role will involve monitoring market pricing, analyzing inventory, identifying revenue opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams and airline partners to maximize profitability.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, good knowledge of MS Excel, and an understanding of the aviation/travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Management & Optimization
Manage and monitor revenue performance for assigned airline sectors.
Identify and analyze price movements across online and market-available inventory.
Identify stock refill opportunities for profit and revenue optimization.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for revenue improvement.
Analyze sales patterns and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
Initiate price correction requests in response to negative market movements.
Market & Flight Analysis
Monitor competitor pricing, market inventory, and fare movements.
Identify new flight launches and assess potential revenue opportunities.
Monitor inventory availability and market demand.
Analyze pricing and sales trends to support effective revenue decisions.
Coordination & Query Resolution
Assist the Agent Support Team in resolving pricing, inventory, and other revenue-related queries.
Coordinate with the Group Desk Team for group quotations and query confirmations.
Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify opportunities for sales and revenue growth.
Coordinate with Airline Teams on pricing, inventory, availability, and other requirements.
Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of revenue-related issues.
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Good understanding of pricing, inventory, and revenue optimization.
Knowledge of the aviation/airline industry will be preferred.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Good time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Travel & Tourism, Aviation, or a related field preferred.
Relevant experience in Revenue Management, Airline Pricing, Inventory Management, Aviation, Travel, or related functions will be preferred.
Candidates with knowledge of airline fares, inventory, pricing, or travel distribution systems will have an added advantage.
Key Objective:
The primary objective of the Revenue Executive is to support the organization in maximizing revenue and profitability across assigned sectors through effective pricing analysis, inventory monitoring, market analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
