Role Overview
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition & HR Specialist to own recruitment and core HR operations. You will work with hiring managers to build technical and business teams while managing payroll activities, employee processes, policies and engagement.
This role needs clear communication, accurate records and consistent follow-through—from the first candidate conversation to an employee’s day-to-day experience at LENS.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
• Manage recruitment from understanding requirements through sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and joining.
• Build candidate pipelines through job platforms, professional networks, referrals and direct outreach.
• Work with hiring managers to assess relevant experience, coordinate interviews and close outstanding decisions.
• Maintain candidate records, interview feedback and follow-ups, ensuring a professional candidate experience.
• Support employer branding and workforce planning.
HR Operations & Payroll
• Manage onboarding, employee documentation, attendance, leave administration and exit processes.
• Manage monthly payroll activities, checking inputs and resolving discrepancies with the relevant teams.
• Maintain accurate employee records and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Maintain HR policies and company guidelines, communicate them clearly and support consistent implementation.
Employee Communication & Engagement
• Serve as a point of contact between employees and leadership.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities and address routine HR queries.
• Track open hiring and HR actions, communicate progress and follow through to completion.
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offers.
• Experience in core HR operations, payroll activities and employee documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgement and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and recurring deadlines.
• Working familiarity with hiring platforms, HR tools and spreadsheets.
• Availability for full-time, on-site work in Gurugram.
Preferred
• Experience in a technology company or recruiting technical professionals.
• Experience with employer branding, workforce planning and employee engagement.
• Immediate availability or a short notice period.
