About the Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team!

We run a large-scale, enterprise-grade web platform on Microsoft Azure, built on a microservice architecture and delivered globally via CDN. As a DevOps engineer, you'll own the infrastructure lifecycle end-to-end — from provisioning developer environments through CI/CD pipelines to production operations. You'll be embedded in a cross-functional, agile team working alongside backend engineers, frontend engineers, and product owners.
This is an office-hours role — no on-call or out-of-hours duty.
Responsibilities
Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
Build and operate multi-stage CI/CD pipelines with release promotion across environments
Manage Kubernetes clusters, networking, secrets, and monitoring
Support production releases and triage escalated incidents during business hours
Automate environment provisioning, deployment workflows, and dependency updates
Document infrastructure decisions and components for cross-team consumption
Required Technical Skills And Experience
Azure Cloud - AKS, Service Bus, Event Hub, Functions, Key Vault, SQL / Elastic Pool, Blob Storage, Container Registry, Application Gateway, VNet / Private Endpoints, Monitor & Application Insights
Kubernetes - cluster operations, namespace management, network policies, autoscaling, workload identity
Terraform - production-grade IaC with the Azure provider, resource dependency management, plan/apply lifecycle
Helm - chart management, versioning, deploying services into Kubernetes
CI/CD Pipelines - multi-stage YAML pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar), release candidate promotion, feature toggles, regression test integration
Monitoring & Alerting - metric and log-based alerts, severity-based escalation, dashboards across compute, messaging, database, and networking layers
Scripting - PowerShell Core or equivalent for provisioning and deployment automation
Incident triage - ability to diagnose issues across Kubernetes pods, application gateways, message queues, serverless functions, and databases

CDN configuration and cache invalidation strategies (e.g. Akamai)
Multi-layer caching awareness (application cache, CDN, origin)
Advanced Kubernetes operations (jobs, node pool strategies, eviction handling)
Automated dependency management (Renovate or similar)
Per-developer environment provisioning pipelines
Basic .NET / C# literacy for cross-team incident triage
Azure cost monitoring and budget alerting
Bastion, backup, and compliance tooling

Strong sense of team collaboration - proactive communication with team and client stakeholders, peer reviews for infrastructure changes
Documentation discipline
Experience working in agile, multi-vendor environments
Must be fluent in English, written and verbal communications
