About the Role:
We’re looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys making sense of messy problems.
At PanScience, we build and work with deep-tech and AI companies across sectors. As a BA, you’ll sit close to the business, product and technology teams, helping turn real-world problems into things that can actually be built.
What you’ll work on:
Understand business problems, workflows and user needs through conversations, research and data.
Translate those problems into clear requirements, use cases and user stories.
Work closely with product, engineering and business teams to shape solutions.
Map existing processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Build simple documentation, process flows, BRDs/FRDs and functional specifications where needed.
Analyze data and business information to support decisions.
Participate in product discussions, UAT, testing and solution validation.
Work with stakeholders from the first conversation through to implementation.
Keep asking “why?” until the actual problem becomes clear.
What we’re looking for:
You don't need to fit a traditional BA mould.
You should be someone who:
Thinks logically and structures ambiguous problems well.
Communicates clearly, both in a room and on paper.
Is comfortable speaking with business stakeholders as well as technical teams.
Can work with data, spreadsheets and basic analytical tools.
Has strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Is curious about technology, AI and how businesses actually work.
Takes ownership rather than waiting for perfectly defined instructions.
Experience: 0–3 years is a good starting point. We’re more interested in how you think than the number on your résumé.
