Software Engineer

A large financial services company is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will focus on designing and operating backend services and intelligent features for data-driven products. The role involves working within a high-performing innovation team to transform complex data into actionable insights.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, code, test, and operate backend services, APIs, and inference pipelines that support real-time and batch workloads.
Own the delivery of assigned features and components end to end, from technical design through deployment and production support.
Build and enhance application features using orchestration frameworks, evaluation methods, and agentic workflows.
Contribute to technical designs and participate in reviews to identify risks, constraints, and alternative engineering approaches.
Maintain engineering excellence through automated testing, code reviews, and the promotion of continuous improvement practices.
What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of experience designing, coding, and operating production-grade backend services and cloud-native applications.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or C#, with experience building scalable microservices and distributed systems.
Practical experience building enterprise applications using large language models, including retrieval augmented generation and model optimization.
Hands-on experience with serverless applications, event-driven architectures, and both relational and NoSQL databases.
Must have the right to work in the country where the role is based, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
