Q4 Contract Shopify Developer Role
About Us
We are a fast-growing ecommerce company operating two DTC pet wellness brands. We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to support us throughout Q4 and ensure both websites are fully prepared for our busiest sales period.
This is initially a Q4 contract, with the possibility of becoming a full-time role if there is an ongoing business need.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and prepare duplicate Shopify themes for each Q4 sale
• Build and update promotional website elements
• Update homepages, landing pages, banners and images
• Implement campaign-specific offers and messaging
• Ensure themes can be tested and published when each sale goes live
• Complete mobile and desktop quality checks
• Resolve Shopify theme and functionality issues
• Support website changes during live campaigns
• Maintain website speed, functionality and conversion performance
• Coordinate with the Marketing, Creative and Operations teams
Required Experience
• Strong Shopify development experience
• Experience with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience creating, editing and duplicating Shopify themes
• Experience supporting DTC ecommerce brands
• Strong understanding of mobile responsiveness and conversion optimisation
• Ability to work accurately against campaign deadlines
• Strong communication and project-management skills
Preferred Experience
• Experience with pet, wellness or supplement brands
• Experience supporting Black Friday and Q4 ecommerce campaigns
• Experience with Shopify apps, subscriptions and promotional functionality
• Experience working across multiple Shopify stores
Contract Details
• Contract period: Q4 (Now-Jan 27)
• Remote
• Budget: $3,000 to $5,000 for the full contract, depending on experience and location
• Potential opportunity to move into a full-time role after Q4
