Role Description The ESG Manager – Safety and Sustainability (Junior) will support the implementation of environmental, social, and governance initiatives within construction projects, with a strong focus on occupational health, safety, and sustainability practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thane, where the individual will assist in conducting safety inspections, monitoring compliance with EHS policies, and participating in accident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions. Daily responsibilities include helping develop and deliver safety training sessions, maintaining safety and ESG documentation, and contributing to internal and client-facing reports. The role also involves coordinating with project teams to integrate ESG and safety standards into day-to-day operations and supporting continuous improvement efforts in safety performance and sustainable practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Occupational Health and Industrial Safety to support safe construction site operations and risk mitigation.
Candidates should possess skills in Safety Training and Accident Investigation to contribute to preventive measures and incident analysis.
Candidates should possess skills in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) to help implement and monitor compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field are beneficial.
Knowledge of construction industry safety standards, local regulations, and ESG frameworks is advantageous.
Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and the ability to follow structured processes.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with site teams, management, and external stakeholders.
Willingness to work on-site in Thane and conduct frequent site visits within construction environments.
