DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on GCP DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who can take full ownership of the reliability, security, observability, and automation of our infrastructure.
Must have GCP and Github Actions hands on experience.
This is not a role focused solely on running CI/CD pipelines or routine cloud operations. We operate an infrastructure-heavy platform, so we need an engineer who understands end-to-end cloud architecture, can spot structural weaknesses, and will build robust engineering practices from the ground up.
What You’ll Own
Observability & Reliability: Build and maintain an end-to-end observability stack across infrastructure and applications. Define meaningful metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerts, SLOs, and SLIs to streamline incident detection, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
GCP Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our Google Cloud Platform footprint (GKE, Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Load Balancing, Cloud SQL). Design systems for scale, cost efficiency, high availability, and strong Kubernetes networking performance.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Structure and standardize infrastructure using modular, version-controlled Terraform. Eliminate manual changes in favor of a fully reproducible infrastructure model.
DevSecOps & Security: Enforce least-privilege access, strengthen IAM and workload identities, secure secrets management, and harden Kubernetes clusters. Drive vulnerability management and compliance readiness.
GitOps & CI/CD: Design secure, predictable, and auditable pipelines from Git to production. Implement reusable CI/CD patterns, deployment safety controls, branch protection rules, and automated rollback strategies.
BYOC & Platform Infrastructure: Collaborate on our Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) architecture. Design secure deployments, IAM policies, and networking boundaries for customer-hosted environments.
What We’re Looking For
Cloud & Containers: Deep hands-on production experience with GCP and Kubernetes/GKE.
Infrastructure as Code: Strong expertise in modular Terraform and IaC state management best practices.
Networking & Security: Practical knowledge of cloud networking (VPCs, routing, NAT, DNS, firewalls, load balancing) alongside IAM, secrets management, and security hardening.
Observability: Proven experience designing production-grade monitoring, tracing, and alerting systems.
Delivery: solid understanding of GitOps principles, GitHub workflows, and modern CI/CD architectures.
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across application, container, network, and cloud layers.
Mindset: Comfort operating in an early-to-growth stage startup environment where you are expected to design, build, and own systems end-to-end.
