Role Description The Web Designer will work full time on-site in Kolkata, creating visually appealing, user-friendly websites and digital interfaces that align with client requirements and brand guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing web layouts, graphics, and UI elements; collaborating with developers and content teams; and ensuring that designs are consistent, accessible, and optimized for performance. The role involves translating business and user needs into intuitive designs, preparing design assets, and working closely with front-end developers to implement responsive and cross-browser compatible interfaces. The Web Designer will also participate in design reviews, refine concepts based on feedback, and stay current with design trends and best practices in web and digital design.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design, with the ability to create modern, user-centric interfaces.
Proficiency in Graphic Design and working with Graphics for web and digital assets.
Experience with Front-End Development concepts and collaboration with developers for seamless design implementation.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar).
Understanding of UX/UI principles, information architecture, and accessibility best practices.
Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Relevant academic background in Design, Computer Science, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in an IT services or digital agency environment is an advantage.
