Manager- Performance Marketing

About the Role
We are looking for a Manager – Optimization who combines strong performance marketing expertise
with business understanding, analytical thinking and a strong ownership mindset.
The role involves owning the performance of a portfolio of e-commerce brands, developing optimization
approaches across digital advertising platforms, and working closely with clients to drive measurable
business outcomes.
You will be expected to go beyond campaign execution — understanding the client's business,
identifying growth opportunities, solving performance challenges and continuously improving campaign
efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Performance & Optimization
• Own the overall performance of a portfolio of e-commerce clients.
• Manage and optimize large-scale campaigns across Meta, Google and other relevant digital
platforms.
• Analyze campaign, customer and business data to identify trends, opportunities, risks and areas
for improvement.
• Drive continuous experimentation across audiences, creatives, budgets, bidding, funnels and
campaign structures.
• Identify opportunities to scale advertising spends while maintaining performance efficiency.
• Monitor key performance metrics and proactively identify deviations and performance
challenges.
• Develop actionable optimization plans based on campaign and business data.
• Ensure consistent improvement in campaign performance through structured testing and
learning.
Client Consulting & Relationship Management
• Act as a performance marketing partner to clients, understanding their business model,
category dynamics, growth priorities and challenges. Lead performance discussions and communicate insights, recommendations and action plans to
clients and senior stakeholders.
• Translate complex data and performance metrics into clear and actionable business insights.
• Proactively identify potential issues and take ownership of firefighting and resolution of critical
client situations.
• Build strong client relationships through regular communication, effective problem-solving and
consistent delivery.
• Understand client business objectives and ensure campaign decisions are aligned with broader
business goals.
What We’re Looking For
• 7–9 years of experience in performance marketing / digital marketing, preferably with an ecommerce
or agency background.
• Strong hands-on experience with Meta and Google Ads; exposure to Amazon Ads will be an
advantage.
• Strong understanding of the e-commerce funnel, from customer acquisition to conversion and
retention.
• Experience managing large advertising budgets and scaling campaigns while maintaining
performance efficiency.
• Strong understanding of performance metrics such as ROAS, CAC, CPA, CTR, CVR, AOV, LTV and
profitability metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from
data.
• Excellent client-facing, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to connect campaign performance with overall business outcomes.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Google / Meta certifications will be an added advantage.
