About Us
Sharnagatam Spiritual Spirit Pvt Ltd is a travel and tourism startup [add 2–3 lines on your
offerings: spiritual journeys, pilgrimages, retreats, curated packages, and who you serve].
We are rebuilding sharanagatam.com from scratch, front end and back end, into a fast, modern
platform where travellers can discover destinations, explore packages and enquire or book
easily. You will help build it from the first sprint.
The Role
You will own the design-to-deployment journey of the new website, working with the team on
both the visitor-facing site and the admin system that runs it. It is a hands-on role with real
ownership, and the internship is a direct route to a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities

Build a fast, mobile-first, responsive front end from provided designs and wireframes
(most travel traffic comes from phones)
Develop the back end: APIs, database, user authentication, and an admin dashboard
where the team can manage packages, itineraries, pricing, blogs and enquiries without a
developer
Build travel-specific features such as destination and package pages, itinerary display,
search and filters, enquiry and booking forms, and photo galleries
Integrate payments, WhatsApp and email notifications, Google Maps and analytics
Migrate existing content and URLs so current SEO rankings are protected
Optimise page speed, image loading, SEO and accessibility
Deploy and host the site, set up backups and SSL, and apply basic security practices
Document your work and fix bugs post-launch
Required Skills and Tech Stack
Front end
●
HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
React with Next.js (for speed and SEO)
Tailwind CSS, responsive design
Back end
●
Node.js with Express (or NestJS)
REST APIs and JWT/session-based authentication
PostgreSQL or MongoDB (or MySQL)
Tools and deployment
●
Git and GitHub
Deployment on Vercel, AWS, or DigitalOcean
Basic Linux and server knowledge
Good to Have
●
TypeScript
Headless CMS experience (Strapi or Sanity) or WordPress migration
Payment gateway integration (Razorpay or PayU)
WhatsApp Business API, Google Maps API, or email tools such as SendGrid
Image optimisation and CDN (Cloudinary)
SEO fundamentals: Core Web Vitals, sitemaps, schema markup
Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel setup
Multilingual (Hindi-English) site experience
Figma handoff experience

self-taught developers with a strong portfolio
