Role Summary & Role Description

Role : QA - Test Engineer
Primary Skills (Must Have):
Required Skills & Experience
4–6 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation using tools such as Selenium with C#.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and .NET framework fundamentals.
Experience in designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks (e.g., Page Object Model, data-driven, keyword-driven).
Proficient in working with collections, LINQ, and design patterns in C#.
Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries to validate and test backend data.
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, including integration of automated test suites into build pipelines.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Good knowledge of testing methodologies, defect tracking/management tools, QA processes, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Behavioral And Soft Skills:
Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented mindset with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Work Environment And Domain Expertise:
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint ceremonies.
Exposure to test planning, estimation, and execution reporting.
Experience in Capital Markets or Fund Accounting domain will be an added advantage.
Nice to Have
Exposure to modern tools like Playwright (C#) or other automation frameworks.
Experience in cloud platforms or enterprise environments.
Knowledge of pipeline troubleshooting and test stability optimization.
