Clinical Reviewer (Travel)

Required Credential: RN, NP, or PA.
Potential Travel: Travel may be required for onsite audit activity based on client direction and the assigned audit schedule.
Success Measure: Clinical review is completed accurately and timely, and experienced clinical reviewers can support non-clinical audit work and serve as Element Leads when qualified and assigned.
Estimated Level of Effort: Full-time during assigned fieldwork and clinical-review periods; otherwise assigned to other review work, training, quality activities, Element Lead development, or other contract work. Approximately 40 hours per week overall.
Daily Responsibilities
Conduct clinical and medical-record review.
Confirm system and medical-record access before fieldwork.
Identify potential noncompliance.
Document supporting evidence.
Coordinate findings with the Review Lead.
Participate in onsite and remote audit activities.
Maintain work papers and documentation.
Support report development.
Support non-clinical review when capacity exists.
Learn and practice Element Lead responsibilities.
Accept supervised Element Lead responsibilities when qualified.
Serve as Element Lead or backup Element Lead for non-clinical work when qualified and assigned.
Continue performing clinical reviewer responsibilities when not assigned as Element Lead.
Proactively communicate available capacity.
Weekly Responsibilities
Review assigned clinical cases and completion status.
Resolve outstanding documentation.
Participate in readiness and closeout activities.
Support other audits where capacity exists.
Participate in cross-training.
Maintain qualifications and required trainings
