Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, document, and execute test cases to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability. Responsibilities include performing manual testing, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with developers and product teams to clarify requirements, and validating fixes in subsequent releases. The role also involves maintaining test documentation, contributing to test plans, and supporting continuous improvement of QA processes and standards. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet compliance and organizational requirements.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Quality Assurance principles and practices, including understanding of QA methodologies and lifecycle.
Hands-on experience in Software Testing and Manual Testing, with the ability to plan and perform structured tests.
Ability to design, write, and maintain clear and comprehensive Test Cases and test documentation.
Practical skills in Test Execution, including defect identification, reporting, tracking, and revalidation.
Familiarity with test management tools and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail or similar).
Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies, and experience working with development and product teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a diverse, multidisciplinary environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in cybersecurity, compliance-heavy environments, or testing enterprise solutions is an advantage.
