QA Teste / Automation Enginee

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a QA Tester / Automation Engineer at LT Distribution Europe. The role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test plans and automated test scripts for software and control systems, ensuring reliability and performance of automation solutions. The QA Tester / Automation Engineer will collaborate with development and engineering teams to identify defects, reproduce issues, and validate fixes, while documenting test results and creating clear reports. Daily tasks include reviewing requirements, defining test cases, conducting regression and integration testing, and supporting continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. The role also includes participating in code and design reviews from a quality perspective and contributing to best practices in test automation and process control.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve system and automation issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess Process Control and Automation skills to design, test, and optimize automated workflows and control systems.
Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering and Robotics skills to understand hardware-software interactions and validate integrated systems.
Candidates should have experience with test automation frameworks, scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar), and version control tools.
Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with QA methodologies, test case design, regression testing, and defect management tools.
Candidates should have strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment and collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
A relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience in QA, automation engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
