Senior Interior Draftsman

Scope Merge is building a dedicated design and technical team in Tunis for a Dubai studio working on luxury residential and hospitality projects across the Gulf. You would be employed by Scope Merge on a Tunisian contract and work full time with the studio's design team in Dubai.
We are looking for an experienced draftsman to turn design concepts into complete, accurate and construction-ready drawing packages for luxury residential and hospitality projects.
What you will do
• Produce complete interior construction drawing packages from concept and design-development information
• Floor plans, setting-out drawings, furniture layouts and reflected ceiling plans
• Flooring and finishes layouts, wall elevations and sections
• Internal architectural details, bathroom and kitchen details, staircases, doors, partitions and wall cladding
• Detailed bespoke joinery and millwork drawings
• Coordinate lighting positions with reflected ceiling plans, and drawings with architectural, structural and MEP information
• Keep drawing standards, layering and dimensions clean, and catch discrepancies before issue
• Support schedules, specifications and tender packages, and review work from junior draftsmen
What we are looking for
• 7 to 10 years drafting in interior design, interior architecture or fit-out
• Expert-level AutoCAD; Revit and BIM are a significant advantage
• Substantial luxury residential and/or hospitality experience
• Real understanding of how luxury interiors are built: joinery, stone, timber, metal, glass, ceilings, flooring and specialist finishes
• International consultancies, luxury fit-out contractors or UAE and GCC projects are a strong advantage
• Good English, coordinating remotely with designers, architects and lighting designers
Your portfolio
Send actual drawing samples, not only photographs or 3D views: complete villa or hospitality packages, wall elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, bathroom details, bespoke joinery and stone details. Mark clearly which drawings you produced yourself.
