Middle Accountant

About the team
We're a hands-on accounting team that keeps the numbers accurate and the deadlines met. Everyone owns their area — from daily entries and reconciliations to payroll and reporting — but we come together when it counts: monthly closings, audits, and financial statements. If you're detail-driven, work well independently, and want to be part of a team that keeps the financial engine running — you'll fit right in.
Responsibilities
Daily posting of accounting entries
Preparation, maintenance, and control of accounting documents (invoices, delivery notes, contracts)
Monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
Monitoring compliance with internal policies
Calculation of salaries, vacation pay, and business trip expenses
Participation in the preparation of financial statements
Participation in the audit process
What makes you the perfect fit
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
Experience of working with Russian Individual Entrepreneurs.
Knowledge of IFRS standards
Experience with international payments
Knowledge of Georgian - you can read and write in Georgian
Basic knowledge of Georgian tax legislation
Proficiency in Excel and the Balance accounting software
Ability to work independently
Attention to detail and responsibility
English or Russian language on B2-C2 level for communication with management
Will be a plus
Experience in audit
Experience of working with several accountant solutions (we use NetSuite)
