We are looking for a skilled DTP Operator to create print-ready educational books and learning materials with accuracy and consistency.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented DTP Operator with experience in educational publishing and book layout designing. The candidate will be responsible for typesetting, formatting, page designing, and preparing print-ready files while maintaining quality standards and meeting production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Format and design educational books, notes, question banks, and practice papers.
Perform typesetting in Hindi and English with proper formatting and alignment.
Create print-ready files according to publication standards.
Work on page layouts, tables, diagrams, charts, and illustrations.
Insert and format mathematical equations, symbols, and educational content.
Ensure consistency in fonts, styles, spacing, margins, and page numbering.
Proofread layouts and correct formatting errors before final production.
Coordinate with editors, proofreaders, graphic designers, and the printing team.
Meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining high accuracy.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (Mandatory)
Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Strong typing skills in Hindi and English
Knowledge of Unicode and Kruti Dev fonts
Familiarity with print production and pre-press processes
Good understanding of page layout and typography
Ability to work under deadlines with attention to detail
Preferred Candidate Profile
1–4 years of experience as a DTP Operator in a Publication House, Printing Press, Newspaper, Magazine, Educational Publisher, or Printing Industry
Experience working on textbooks, competitive exam books, magazines, or educational content will be preferred.
Basic understanding of competitive examination content is an added advantage.
Qualification
Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
Diploma or Certification in DTP, Graphic Design, or Multimedia will be an advantage.
Salary
₹18,000 – ₹26,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
