We form a strategic alliance with existing management teams. • Serve as a point of contact for internal departments, including Finance and Human Resources, on benefits-related questions and issues.
• Process new hire benefit enrollments and terminations accurately and within established service-level targets.
• Support day-to-day plan administration across retirement, medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits.
• Maintain accurate employee data across HRIS/payroll systems, including ADP, and benefits carrier platforms.
• Assist with invoice reconciliation and billing reviews across benefits carriers.
• Support 401(k) administration tasks, including data tracking and coordination with the recordkeeper.
• Maintain eligibility documentation and new hire benefits materials.
• Monitor and track employee leaves of absence, including key dates and benefit continuation status.
• Support ad hoc projects, including acquisitions, system changes, audits, and other initiatives as team needs evolve.
REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Foundational knowledge of employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the precision and accuracy required to handle sensitive employee data and financial reconciliations.
• Patient and clear communication skills, with the ability to explain benefits concepts to employees who may be unfamiliar with benefits terminology.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and open items simultaneously.
• Solid Excel skills, including formulas, formatting, and data organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with employees and internal teams.
• Sound discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in an evolving environment without rigid structure, with a strong ability to learn quickly.
ADDITIONAL/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior experience supporting benefits across both US and Canadian employee populations is an asset.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is an asset.
