Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Accountant based in India to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial accuracy, and ensure timely reporting. Hands-on experience with ERPNext is a mandatory requirement for this position.
​Key Responsibilities
​Day-to-Day Accounting: Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), process supplier invoices, issue customer sales invoices, and reconcile receipts.
​ERPNext Operations: Record, organize, and manage all financial transactions, journal entries, ledger postings, and inventory movements within ERPNext.
​Bank & Account Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations, vendor statement reconciliations, and inter-company account checks.
​Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements).
​Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, direct/indirect tax filings) and maintain proper audit documentation.
​Expense Tracking: Audit expense reports, track departmental expenditures, and flag budget variances or discrepancies.
​Requirements & Qualifications
​Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (M.Com/Inter CA/CMA is a plus).
​Work Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on work experience in an accounting role.
​ERP Proficiency: Proven, practical experience operating ERPNext (Accounts module, Sales/Purchase, Stock/Inventory reconciliation).
