IATA Dangerous Goods Certified Logistics Professional

Key Responsibilities:-
Handle Dangerous Goods (DG) shipment documentation in accordance with applicable IATA regulations.
Coordinate air freight shipments with airlines, CHA, ground handling agents and other stakeholders.
Prepare and verify DG-related documentation, including declarations, labels and supporting documents.
Ensure proper compliance with IATA DGR and applicable domestic/international DG regulations.
Coordinate cargo acceptance, booking, handling and shipment movement.
Review DG classification, packaging, labelling and documentation requirements.
Support customers with DG cargo queries, documentation requirements and operational solutions.
Monitor shipment status and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure timely movement.
Maintain accurate shipment records and operational documentation.
Identify documentation or compliance discrepancies and coordinate corrective action.
Follow all applicable cargo safety, security and compliance procedures.
Requirements:-
Valid IATA DG Certification — Mandatory.
2+ years of experience in air freight, cargo operations or DG handling preferred.
Good understanding of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR).
Knowledge of DG classification, labelling, marking, packaging and documentation.
Practical experience with air cargo documentation and shipment coordination.
Experience dealing with airlines, CHA, ground handling agents or freight forwarders will be preferred.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to work independently and handle time-sensitive shipments.
Proactive, responsible and solution-oriented approach.
