Role Description The HSE Executive will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental standards at the Hosur site, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Sodexo policies. This full-time, on-site role involves conducting regular inspections and risk assessments, identifying hazards, and recommending corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace. The HSE Executive will organize and deliver training sessions on HSE topics, promote environmental awareness, and support occupational health initiatives for team members and subcontractors. The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation, preparing incident reports, analyzing trends, and collaborating with operations leadership to continuously improve HSE performance. The HSE Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a proactive safety culture aligned with Sodexo’s commitment to quality of life and responsible business practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Health & Safety, with practical experience in implementing HSE management systems.
Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Awareness and Occupational Health, with the ability to support environmental initiatives and employee wellbeing programs.
Candidates should possess Training skills, including the ability to design and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for diverse teams.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field; professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are an advantage.
Strong knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, incident investigation methods, and risk assessment techniques.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and promote a safety-first culture.
Proven ability to maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and use basic digital tools and MS Office for documentation and analysis.
