JD Tech Lead Preventive Maintenance Industrial IoT

About the Role:
We are building a next-generation Industrial Reliability Intelligence platform that combines Industrial IoT, Edge Intelligence, AI/ML, advanced analytics, and asset monitoring technologies to transform how enterprises manage the health, performance, and reliability of critical industrial assets. By converting real-time operational data into actionable intelligence, the platform enables predictive maintenance, operational optimization, energy efficiency, and improved asset performance across industrial environments.
We are seeking a Tech Leader to own the end-to-end technology vision for the platform. The leader will drive architecture and execution across Industrial IoT, Edge Computing, AI/ML, Cloud Platforms, Data Engineering, Enterprise Applications, and Reliability Analytics, while working closely with product, customers, and technology partners to scale the platform and business.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership
Define and drive the end-to-end platform architecture spanning: Industrial IoT and Edge Computing, Asset Monitoring and Reliability Analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, and Predictive Intelligence, Data Platforms and Real-Time Analytics, Cloud-native Applications and Enterprise Integrations.
Own architectural decisions around scalability, security, performance, interoperability, and future product direction
Product & Roadmap Ownership
Own the technical roadmap and work closely with business, product, customers, and partners to translate business needs into scalable platform capabilities.
Drive innovation across Industrial AI, Smart Manufacturing, Reliability Intelligence, Energy Analytics, and Connected Operations
Engineering Execution
Lead engineering teams from concept to deployment.
Establish best practices for architecture, software engineering, AI/ML development, edge deployment, data engineering, and DevOps.
Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams while driving product quality, innovation, and execution excellence.
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
10 to 12 years of experience in Industrial IoT, Smart Manufacturing, Industrial AI, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Platforms, Asset Performance Management, or Reliability Engineering.
Strong experience in enterprise-scale architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, Data Engineering, and Real-time Processing platforms.
Knowledge of Industrial IoT technologies including MQTT, SCADA, PLC integration, Edge Computing, and Digital Twins.
Hands-on experience building and scaling industrial technology products and platforms.
Experience leading engineering teams and delivering enterprise deployments across multiple industrial environments.
Ideal Candidate
A builder and technology leader who has successfully created and scaled industrial digital platforms, combining expertise in Industrial IoT, AI/ML, cloud technologies, and product engineering. The ideal candidate will bring the mindset of a technical co-founder, with the ability to define architecture, build teams, translate customer problems into products, and drive execution from concept to large-scale deployment.
