About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
We're hiring a Business Development Manager to own enterprise and mid-market sales at PDAI.
A bit about us - we started out building tools to fix processes in the automotive space, and over time that's grown into AI products used across industries. Inspection systems, dashboards, lead-scoring models, tools that help service teams get more done. We like building things that are simple and actually get used.
We need someone who can run the full sales cycle on their own - find the right accounts, get in front of decision-makers, build the proposal, negotiate, close, and then keep growing the relationship after the deal is signed. You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams, so being comfortable talking about APIs, integrations, cloud and data flows matters. You don't need to write code, but you should be able to explain to a CTO how our product fits into their stack, and then explain to their CFO why it's worth paying for.
Day to day, you'll be -
Prospecting through calls, email, LinkedIn, partners and events, and qualifying deals properly (MEDDIC, BANT or whatever framework you swear by)
Running discovery and demos with CXOs and heads of Ops/IT
Putting together proposals, SOWs and RFP responses, and working with our finance and legal folks on pricing and contracts
Leading negotiations and keeping your pipeline and forecasts honest in the CRM
Looking after key accounts and finding upsell and expansion opportunities
Bringing what you hear from customers back to our product team
Helping shape our sales playbook and mentoring junior team members as we grow
What we're looking for -
6–8 years in IT, SaaS or tech sales, with a track record of hitting your numbers
Experience closing enterprise or large mid-market deals
Enough technical depth to hold your own in a conversation with engineers
Exposure to industries like BFSI, EdTech, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing or enterprise SaaS is a plus
A degree in Business, Engineering, CS or similar. An MBA is nice to have but not a dealbreaker
This is a high-ownership role. You'll carry real revenue responsibility and have a lot of say in how our sales function gets built. For the right person, there's a clear path into sales leadership.
