Overview
The Financial Specialist provides support to the Accounts Payable Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department and the monthly and year end closing process. In addition, serves as a resource and support to the Finance Operations Representatives for all duties associated with that position. Processes payments for medical professional fees and sales and food taxes. Reviews open vendor obligations. Revises departmental forms as needed, assists with vendor processing, and has primary responsibility for coordinating system software implementations, conversions and upgrades as related to Accounts Payable.
