Role Description The Microbiologist will work full time on-site in Delhi, India, conducting routine and specialized microbiological testing in a laboratory setting. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing samples, performing culture and identification procedures, and maintaining accurate records of all tests performed. The role involves monitoring environmental and product quality, supporting quality control and quality assurance activities, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards. The Microbiologist will calibrate and operate laboratory equipment, assist in method validation, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product safety and process optimization. The position also requires strict compliance with health, safety, and good laboratory practice guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Microbiology, including microbial identification, culturing techniques, and contamination control.
Laboratory Skills and experience handling Laboratory Equipment, including calibration, maintenance, and safe operation.
Knowledge of Quality Control processes, including routine testing, documentation, and deviation reporting.
Understanding of Quality Assurance practices, regulatory requirements, and implementation of standard operating procedures.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience working in microbiology laboratories in pharmaceutical, food, healthcare, or related industries is preferred.
Proficiency in data recording, basic statistical analysis, and use of laboratory information systems or related software.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
