Role Description The Electrician Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for leading electrical crews on construction and maintenance projects. This role oversees day-to-day site operations, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with technical specifications and codes. The Electrician Foreman reviews drawings and plans, coordinates with project managers and other trades, inspects installations, and troubleshoots electrical issues as they arise. Responsibilities also include maintaining tools and equipment, tracking materials, enforcing safety protocols, and mentoring electricians and helpers to support skill development and high work standards.
Qualifications
Strong supervisory skills, including crew management, task delegation, and on-site leadership.
Experience working with heavy equipment related to electrical installation and construction activities.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, contractors, and clients.
Basic carpentry abilities to support installation of conduits, panels, and fixtures where needed.
Maintenance skills for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electrical systems and components.
Proven experience as an Electrician or Electrician Foreman in construction or industrial settings.
Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical trade; licensed electrician status preferred.
