Guest Relations Manager — Juun

Juun is hiring a Guest Relations Manager to own every guest's experience from the first call to the goodbye at the door.
About Juun
Juun is a fine-dining Cantonese restaurant in South Mumbai, opened in June 2026. It comes from the team behind Love & Cheesecake and Poetry by Love & Cheesecake, which together run 21+ outlets across Mumbai and Pune.
The cooking is precise and the room is quiet. Service is warm, knowing and never showy. Guests should leave feeling looked after, not performed at.
The role
You are the face and memory of Juun. You run reservations and the door, know our regulars by name and preference, and make sure every table's night goes to plan, including birthdays, business dinners and dietary requests.
You also turn first-time guests into regulars. You build and look after our guest database, keep in touch with high-value guests and handle feedback before it becomes a review.
Key responsibilities
Reservations and the door
Own the reservation book: pacing covers, table allocation, waitlists, no-shows and deposits for large or peak bookings
Lead the host desk during service: welcome and seat guests, and manage waits calmly on full nights
Brief the floor before every service on VIPs, occasions, allergies and seating notes
Guest experience
Be on the floor every service, checking tables and stepping in before small issues grow
Coordinate special requests with the kitchen and bar: Jain, vegetarian and allergen needs, celebration cakes and private dining
Handle complaints in person, with authority to recover the evening within agreed limits
Regulars and guest data
Build and maintain the guest database: preferences, allergies, favourite dishes, occasions and spend
Run a regulars programme: recognition on arrival, anniversary and birthday outreach, first access to new menus and chef's tables
Follow up personally with first-time and high-value guests after their visit
Reputation and feedback
Monitor and reply to reviews on Google, Zomato, Instagram and similar platforms within 24 hours
Share a weekly summary of guest feedback and themes with the GM and head chef
Work with Brewworks marketing on guest events, collaborations and influencer or press visits
Team
Hire, train and schedule hosts and reservation staff
Set Juun's standards for phone manner, greeting, farewell and guest communication, and hold the team to them
What we're looking for
Must have
5+ years in guest-facing roles in luxury hospitality, with at least 2 years leading a host desk or guest relations team in fine dining or a five-star hotel
Excellent spoken and written English
Hands-on experience with reservation systems (EazyDiner, Dineout or similar) and a CRM or guest database
Calm, polished presence under pressure on a full Saturday night
Strong memory for names, faces and preferences
Good to have
Understanding of Cantonese or pan-Asian cuisine, or the curiosity to learn it quickly
An existing network among Mumbai's regular fine-dining guests
Experience with private dining, events or corporate bookings
A degree or diploma in hospitality management
