Role overview
We're looking for a Senior Oracle Fusion
SCM Functional Consultant to lead functional workstreams on Oracle Fusion Supply
Chain Management Cloud implementations and support engagements. You'll take
ownership of requirements gathering through go-live for core SCM modules, work
directly with clients and cross-functional teams to design practical solutions,
and provide day-to-day functional guidance to less experienced consultants on
the team.
Key responsibilities
Lead the functional workstream on Oracle Fusion SCM
implementations and upgrades, from requirements gathering and fit-gap
analysis through configuration, testing, and go-live.
"Configure and support core SCM modules — Procurement,
Inventory Management, Order Management, Global Order Promising, and
Costing"
Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs,
including "as-is to to-be" process mapping.
Coordinate and support testing cycles: Conference Room Pilots
(CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing
(UAT).
Provide functional guidance during data migration (e.g., FBDI)
and reporting activities (e.g., OTBI/BI Publisher), partnering with
technical teams as needed.
Provide functional input on integration touchpoints (e.g., with
Oracle Integration Cloud) without owning the technical build.
Investigate and resolve production support issues within agreed
timeframes, including root-cause analysis for recurring problems.
Mentor and provide functional guidance to junior consultants on
the team.
Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders
throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations and surfacing
risks early.
Required qualifications
6+ years of Oracle ERP consulting experience, with strong
hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud.
Hands-on configuration experience in Procurement, Inventory
Management, Order Management.
Secondary Skill set of Finance Modules- Expenses, Fixed Assets,
Payables, Tax is an added advantage.
At least two or more full-cycle Oracle Fusion SCM
implementation (requirements through go-live).
Working knowledge of core SCM business processes:
Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
Familiarity with data migration approaches (e.g., FBDI) and
standard Oracle reporting tools (e.g., OTBI, BI Publisher).
Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills,
written and verbal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with additional SCM modules: Sourcing, Supplier
Management, Manufacturing, or Supply Planning.
Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud certification.
Experience with production support / Application Managed
Services (AMS) engagements, including SLA-based issue resolution.
Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP-based
integrations from a functional perspective.
Experience with Oracle implementation methodologies (e.g.,
OUM).
Experience working in global delivery or onsite–offshore
engagement models.
Familiarity with newer Oracle Cloud capabilities such as AI
Agent Studio.
Familiarity with Logistics/OTM
