Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a foundational product engineering role on a small, high-caliber founding team building an AI-powered platform for private market operations. You will lead the design and development of the core interface through which operations teams interact with AI agents, making automated outputs trustworthy and easy to act on. Your work will directly shape how users experience AI in high-stakes financial workflows.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain the design system and UX patterns used across the product.
- Build product interfaces that connect users to AI agents and underlying data sources.
- Create human-in-the-loop flows for reviewing, approving, and acting on agent outputs.
- Conduct user research with operations stakeholders to identify pain points and iterate on product features.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1 to 7 years of professional frontend engineering experience with strong product intuition and UX craft.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience developing, documenting, or evolving design systems for complex applications.
- A track record building workflow-driven interfaces that involve human review, exception handling, or approval flows.
- Practical experience working on AI, ML, or LLM-powered products, with a focus on presenting automated outputs in trustworthy ways.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform product decisions.
- Comfort working closely with operations stakeholders in iterative, feedback-driven cycles.
- Exposure to private markets or financial operations is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: 70,000 to 110,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
On-site in Berlin, Germany. Candidates must be willing and able to work from the Berlin office.
