Full-Stack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on, high-ownership engineering role on a small, product-focused team building AI-powered sales automation software for distributors and manufacturers. You will work across the full stack to design, ship, and scale complex web applications that process large volumes of unstructured data and integrate with enterprise ERP and CRM systems. The work is fast-paced and has direct impact on the core product.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the architecture and design of AI systems end-to-end.
- Collaborate with other engineers across the full stack to deliver features at pace.
- Build data pipelines to process large-scale unstructured data efficiently.
- Deploy and manage software in cloud environments using modern CI/CD practices.
- Make the backend scalable, stable, and efficient as usage grows.
- Develop reusable components and well-structured API layers.
- Write clean, maintainable code with sensible test coverage.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of full-time professional engineering experience; working-student or internship-only backgrounds do not qualify.
- Strong proficiency building end-to-end web applications with Next.js/React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
- Backend-capable full-stack profile rather than a frontend-focused one.
- Solid experience designing scalable APIs and reusable backend structures.
- Experience building data pipelines for large-scale unstructured data.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Practical experience with ML/NLP technologies, including embeddings, vector databases, and RLHF, with production deployments preferred.
- Experience with ML model serving and inference pipelines in production environments is a plus.
- A product-minded mindset with a demonstrable track record of shipping complex applications.
- Ability to clearly articulate past engineering decisions and accomplishments.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Salary range: 80,000 to 130,000 EUR annually, depending on experience.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
LOCATION
On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Candidates must be willing and able to work in person in Munich on a full-time basis; limited hybrid arrangements are not on offer.
