Corporate Actions, Associate 2

The Associate –(Corporate Actions) is responsible for independently processing and accounting for corporate action events across assigned markets and funds. The role requires a strong understanding of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, accurate interpretation of announcements, timely processing, and strict adherence to risk and control standards.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
As Associate you will:
Independently process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions such as dividends, splits, mergers, rights, tenders, and redemptions in line with market practices and internal guidelines
Interpret corporate action announcements received from vendors, custodians, and issuers and determine the correct processing and accounting treatment
Ensure timely and accurate posting of corporate action events in accounting and Gold Copy systems
Reconcile positions, cash, and entitlements and investigate and resolve breaks within agreed SLAs
Monitor the complete lifecycle of events from announcement through payment and closure
Coordinate with Custody, Fund Accounting, Client Service, and Technology teams to resolve event-related issues
Respond to client and internal queries related to corporate action processing and financial impacts

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
Two to four years of hands-on experience in Corporate Actions or investment operations
Strong understanding of end-to-end corporate action processing and global market practices

Proactively escalates issues and collaborates effectively with stakeholders
Adapts to changing volumes, priorities, and market practices
