Role Description The Project Design Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Amritsar, india. This role is responsible for coordinating interior design and architectural aspects of hotel projects, ensuring that brand standards, design guidelines, and timelines are consistently met. The Project Design Coordinator will assist in reviewing design drawings and specifications, preparing documentation, and supporting project managers in organizing meetings, tracking progress, and managing stakeholder communications. The role includes liaison with internal teams, external consultants, and owners to resolve design-related queries and maintain alignment between functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements. The Project Design Coordinator will also contribute to quality control by monitoring implementation on-site and providing feedback to improve design processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong project coordination and project management skills to handle multiple design projects, timelines, and deliverables.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, consultants, and hotel owners and to present design concepts clearly.
Candidates should possess interior design and architecture skills, including the ability to interpret drawings, design standards, and technical specifications.
Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience in hospitality, real estate, or commercial design projects is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in design and productivity software (e.g., AutoCAD/Revit, MS Office).
Ability to work on-site with cross-cultural teams, manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, and adhere to health, safety, and quality guidelines.
