Role Description The AI Engineer will design, build, and deploy machine learning and AI solutions that support Medyzen’s medicine delivery platform and hospital integrations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing models for pattern recognition and prediction, implementing neural network architectures, and applying natural language processing (NLP) techniques to healthcare and logistics data. The role involves collaborating with software developers and product teams to integrate AI services into production systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. The AI Engineer will also analyze data, run experiments, and refine models based on performance metrics, while contributing to technical documentation and best practices. This is a full-time remote role, requiring proactive communication and effective collaboration across distributed teams.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and clean, maintainable code.
Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, including training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models.
Practical knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), especially for text classification, entity extraction, and language understanding.
Proficiency with modern ML/AI tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and cloud-based development environments.
Experience designing and deploying production-grade AI services and APIs, with attention to performance, monitoring, and reliability.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with healthcare, logistics, or pharmacy supply chains is a plus, as well as experience with data privacy and security regulations.
