The company’s product range includes leather belts, leather bags, home décor items, and small leather accessories such as card holders and wallets. AL-FAHAD EXIM also produces pet accessories including dog collars, harnesses, and coats, as well as selected non-leather accessories. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commission Sales Associate role based in Kanpur. The Commission Sales Associate will be responsible for identifying and engaging new buyers and distributors for leather and non-leather products, managing existing client relationships, and following up regularly to secure repeat business. Daily tasks include presenting product ranges, negotiating pricing and terms, preparing quotations, and coordinating with production and logistics teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery. The role involves maintaining accurate sales records, monitoring market trends, and providing feedback on customer preferences and competitive activity. The Commission Sales Associate will work towards agreed sales targets and earn commission based on achieved results, while representing the company professionally at meetings, trade shows, and client visits.
Qualifications
Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and meet or exceed targets.
Experience in business development, client acquisition, or account management, ideally in leather goods, fashion, or related industries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging buyers, distributors, and internal teams.
Ability to understand product features, pricing, and quality standards, and present them clearly to customers.
Basic proficiency in using email, spreadsheets, and CRM or sales tracking tools to manage leads and orders.
Comfort working in an on-site environment in Kanpur, with readiness for local travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
Self-motivated, target-oriented approach and the ability to work independently while collaborating with production and logistics staff.
Prior experience in export sales, international trade, or B2B sales is an advantage.
Relevant education in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong sales experience.
