Senio\Lead C++ Engineer

About The Role
In this role, you will contribute to a large-scale network and real-time communications monitoring platform used in carrier and enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
Maintain and extend the C routing-and-session-detection engine, including protocol decoders for SIP and RTP/RTCP at the wire level
Work with the C++/CORBA management plane, including distributed-object/middleware components
Diagnose and resolve issues using libpcap/Wireshark captures and memory-safety tooling (AddressSanitizer, Valgrind, fuzzing)
Support and integrate with SBC vendors (Oracle/Acme, Sonus/Ribbon, AudioCodes, Avaya, Polycom) where applicable
Reconstruct and modernize builds for legacy C/C++ codebases (e.g., migrating to CMake or equivalent) and help build out CI pipelines
Operate and support the platform's PostgreSQL datastore
Collaborate across the six subsystems (C engine, C datastore, C++/CORBA management plane, Java web tier) to keep the platform stable on FreeBSD
Requirements
6+ years of experience as С\С++ Engineer
Pro6ven experience with SIP and RTP/RTCP at the wire level
Solid knowledge of libpcap and Wireshark fluency
Еxperience with networking or telecom
Strong proficiency in C++ including pre-C++11 codebases
Solid knowledge of distributed-object or middleware
Knowledge of FreeBSD userland
Experience reconstructing and modernizing builds for legacy C/C++ codebases
Proficiency with PostgreSQL
Experience with CMake or equivalent and CI pipeline construction
Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
Strong with CORBA (omniORB, TAO, ACE) (nice to have)
Familiarity with routing protocol internals (would be a plus)
