Role & Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a cross-functional Laravel development team, ensuring delivery of high-quality, testable, and maintainable code on tight deadlines.
Architect scalable Laravel applications with clean separation of concerns, leveraging services, repositories, and domain-driven design patterns.
Drive CI/CD pipeline adoption for Laravel apps—automating deployments, testing, and security scans using tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
Collaborate with product managers and QA leads to translate specs into technical tasks, backlog grooming, and sprint planning for agile teams.
Conduct code reviews, enforce PSR standards, and maintain technical debt registers to uphold codebase integrity and long-term extensibility.
Own application performance: profile and optimise queries, cache strategies, and API responses to ensure sub-second latency for critical user flows.
