Role Description The Real Estate Strategist is a full-time, based in Mumbai, responsible for shaping and executing specialities Group’s development and investment strategies. This position involves conducting market analysis and feasibility studies, evaluating potential sites and redevelopment opportunities, and building data-driven business cases for residential and mixed-use projects. The Real Estate Strategist collaborates with senior leadership, design, sales, and finance teams to align project concepts with target customer segments, pricing strategies, and brand positioning. Daily activities include tracking Project Progress, internal team synchronisation, and regulatory changes; preparing strategic reports and presentations; and supporting decision-making on project phasing, and business plans. The role also includes coordination with external partners such as consultants, brokers, and industry stakeholders to identify emerging opportunities and enhance project value.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and strategic planning skills, including market research, financial modelling, and feasibility assessment for real estate projects.
Experience in residential and mixed-use real estate, urban redevelopment, or investment analysis, preferably within the Mumbai or broader urban market context.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with design, project management, sales, and marketing teams to translate strategy into actionable plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and property market databases or research platforms.
Masters degree in Business, Finance, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or a related field
Knowledge of local regulations, zoning, and real estate approval processes in Mumbai is highly beneficial.
