Role Description The Architect role at Nirmaad Construction & Architects is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The Architect will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing architectural designs, preparing detailed drawings and plans, and coordinating with structural, MEP, and interior teams. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, translating concepts into design proposals, revising plans based on feedback, and ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. The role also involves overseeing design implementation during construction, collaborating with project managers and contractors, and resolving design-related issues on site. The Architect is expected to maintain clear documentation, support cost and material estimations, and contribute to continuous improvement in design standards and processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to produce concept designs, working drawings, and 3D visualizations.
Experience with Project Management, including coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing timelines, and supporting budget and resource planning.
Familiarity with Integration of design elements across structural, MEP, and interior disciplines to ensure cohesive and practical project execution.
Basic understanding of Software Development or design-related software integration, such as collaboration tools or BIM workflows, is an advantage.
Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and strong technical drawing skills.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes relevant to projects in Lucknow and surrounding regions.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or licensure is an added advantage.
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and willingness to work on-site with cross-functional teams.
