Temporary Email Marketing Specialist – Mailchimp

About the Role
FleetPride is seeking a temporary Email Marketing Specialist with hands-on Mailchimp experience to support customer communications related to the integration of TruckPro locations into the FleetPride network. This role is expected to continue for 3-5 months.
This is a hands-on email execution and coordination role. The specialist will manage customer lists from multiple stakeholders, build branch-specific emails in Mailchimp using approved messaging and templates, perform detailed quality assurance, and schedule campaigns according to the branch migration timeline.
Because a large number of communications will be similar but customized for individual locations and customer audiences, success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, organization, and experience working directly within Mailchimp.
Key Responsibilities
Build, test, schedule, and deploy customer email campaigns in Mailchimp.
Coordinate customer contact lists provided by multiple internal stakeholders.
Import, clean, organize, and validate customer lists within Mailchimp.
Manage audience segmentation to ensure customers receive communications for the correct TruckPro or FleetPride location.
Create branch-specific emails using approved FleetPride templates and copy provided by the Communications team.
Update emails with location-specific information such as: Branch names and locations, Migration or Transition Dates, Customer Instructions, and Store Specific Messages
Schedule campaigns according to an established branch migration calendar.
Perform thorough pre-send quality assurance, including: recipient and audience validation, content and copy review, branch and date accuracy, link testing, subject line and preview text, sender information, email formatting and rendering
Send test emails and coordinate stakeholder review and approval.
Maintain organized tracking of campaigns that are in development, awaiting approval, scheduled, or completed.
Quickly update campaigns when migration dates, customer lists, or messaging change.
Confirm successful deployment and provide basic post-send reporting as needed.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated hands-on experience using Mailchimp to build, manage, and send email campaigns.
Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills.
Experience importing and managing contact lists and audiences in Mailchimp.
Experience using Mailchimp segmentation, tags, groups, or similar audience-management functionality.
Experience building emails using Mailchimp templates or content blocks.
Experience testing, scheduling, and deploying campaigns
Strong understanding of email campaign quality assurance and pre-send testing.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple similar campaigns with different audiences, locations, and dates.
Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for reviewing and organizing customer lists.
Ability to work independently and meet firm communication deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing high-volume or multi-location email campaigns in Mailchimp.
Experience working with B2B, retail, distribution, automotive, or location-based businesses.
Familiarity with Mailchimp audience hygiene, duplicate management, suppression, unsubscribe handling, and deliverability best practices.
Experience managing campaigns with different content or audiences by geographic location.
Basic HTML email knowledge is helpful but not required.
What Success Looks Like
This role is primarily about accurate and dependable execution in Mailchimp.
The successful candidate will be able to take approved messaging, customer lists, and a communication schedule and efficiently turn them into correctly targeted, professionally built, thoroughly tested, and accurately scheduled Mailchimp campaigns.
With many branch migrations occurring over a relatively short period, the specialist must be comfortable managing multiple campaigns simultaneously while ensuring that the right customers receive the right branch information on the right date.
Engagement Details
This is a temporary, hourly position supporting FleetPride's TruckPro branch migration communications.
Workload may vary depending on the migration schedule, with increased activity surrounding major branch transition dates. The engagement is currently expected to continue through approximately February 2027.
