We are building a new consumer technology company around a fundamental idea:
As AI becomes increasingly capable of understanding, reasoning and acting for individuals, people need their own persistent intelligence infrastructure: individually governed, independent of any single AI provider, and able to work across models, agents and domains on their behalf.
We are building the architecture to make that possible, and a Sovereign Agent through which individuals can put their intelligence to work.
We are looking for an exceptional Founding CTO & Co-Founder to help turn an existing body of architecture and intellectual property into a category-defining consumer product.
The vision is simple:
One individual. One unified Personal Intelligence, owned and governed by the individual. One Sovereign Agent. Any AI. Every domain.
The underlying AI should be replaceable. The individual's intelligence should not be.
The Sovereign Agent will be able to work across multiple AI models, specialist agents and external services while maintaining persistent intelligence and context on the individual's side.
Initial applications will include commerce, travel, research, decision support and life administration, with an existing agent-to-agent commerce ecosystem available for integration.
What You Will Build
You will lead the technical architecture and initial development of:
A persistent Personal Intelligence Foundation independent of any single AI model or provider
A Sovereign Agent capable of working across multiple models, agents and services
Secure, permissioned mechanisms through which external AI systems can use appropriate Personal Intelligence
Multi-model and multi-agent orchestration
Identity, authorization, privacy and security infrastructure
Integrations with external AI and agent ecosystems
Foundations for permissioned agent-to-agent communication and coordination
A consumer product that turns this architecture into something people can actually use
This is not a role where you inherit a large engineering organization.
During the formative stage, you will be expected to architect, prototype and write production code, make foundational technical decisions, choose the stack, integrate external AI capabilities and help build the initial engineering team.
Who We're Looking For
Ideally, you bring 10+ years of software engineering and technology experience, with substantial experience architecting and shipping production systems.
You may have been a CTO, VP Engineering, VP AI/ML, Head of AI, Chief Architect, technical founder/co-founder, or an exceptional senior technical leader ready to take the Founding CTO role.
Deep recent experience with LLMs, agentic systems, AI memory and context, orchestration or applied AI infrastructure is important.
Strong experience with backend systems, distributed architectures, data infrastructure, APIs and cloud systems is highly relevant.
Experience with identity, authorization, privacy, applied cryptography, knowledge systems or multi-agent systems would be particularly valuable.
Previous startup founding experience is a significant advantage.
Most importantly, you should still be a builder.
